What are roadliners?
Chain-on rubber pads, commonly called roadliners, are fixed directly to the track chain. Each roadliner is a one-piece vulcanised pad that attaches using track bolts, replacing the steel track shoe entirely.
Roadliners are suitable for 8 to 15 tonne excavators and are best suited to permanent use on your machine. With a thick steel base plate and bonded rubber, a roadliner carries the weight of the machine and gives a longer wear life than bolt-on or clip-on pads.
Fitting roadliners
Roadliners take the most time to fit, as the existing steel track shoes must be removed so the roadliners can be installed directly onto the track chain. Talk to us about fitting at one of our workshops or on site.
