Track chain or track group?
A track chain is the links, pins and bushes on their own. A track group is the chain with the track shoes already bolted on, so it goes on the machine in one job.
If your shoes still have plenty of life in them, the chain on its own can be the cheaper way to go. If they're worn too, a group saves you bolting old shoes onto new chain.
Rubber pads on steel tracks
TuffPad rubber pads enable steel-tracked excavators to work on roads, concrete and paved sites while protecting the surface.
Bolt-on and clip-on pads fit onto the shoes you already have. Chain-on pads replace the shoes and bolt straight to the chain.
