What does an idler do?

The front idler guides the track around the front of the track frame. It works with the track adjuster to set and hold track tension. Worn idlers can cause uneven track wear and detracking.

Regularly inspect idlers for wear and damage, and keep them clean and properly lubricated to extend their life.
