For high speed, high abrasion and/or high temperature applications, TKV’s specially formulated PU compound will provide better wear-life and less temperature build up in comparison to rubber coated rollers.
The reduced temperature build-up can also reduce the deterioration of the roller running path on your rubber tracks. This PU compound also resists the accumulation of stones and debris around the rollers, once again extending rubber track life.
Drive wheels are all machined, soda blasted and then re-bonded with a slip resistant rubber which is grooved for maximum traction.
The most common failure for mid rollers on agricultural rubber tracked tractors is the de-bonding of the rubber wear surface.
TKV’s workshop can also recondition and repair rubber tracks that have a intact carcass and cable structure.
Some of these repairs include:
- Guide lug repairs – both bolt on and moulded
- Tread lug repairs
- Cut and chunk repairs
